We first met briefly in April 2021 at Thomas’s sister Emily's apartment, when Kathlyn dropped off her friend Lauren for a wig party. A couple of months later, we reconnected at Old Crow in Wrigleyville during one of the first Tuesday Night Outs (TNO), a post-COVID gathering in Chicago where friends would meet up at bars, usually Halligans. Kathlyn’s friends from home, Lauren and Laine brought their cousin Thomas, and we immediately hit it off. That summer, our friendship quickly grew, especially since we lived just a block apart in Lincoln Park and spent every Tuesday night at Halligans. Not long after meeting again at TNO, we had our first date getting ice cream at Margies Candies, and we’ve been together ever since. Over the past year, we’ve loved exploring our new home in San Diego (including getting engaged at the oldest tavern in San Diego) and are thrilled to celebrate our marriage with all of you in August 2025.
